How good is my graphics card X3100????

Hey AD adicts
Let me get straight to the point. I do not have much knowledge with graphics cards. I only know about the Nvidia Geforce and by knwoing I mean I know that higher the number, the better, so not much.
So I bought a laptop with integrated graphics inetl 965 series the X3100. I was wondering what kind of games would I be able to play on this. I tried quake 3 that works well. Battlefield 2142 demo was ok. But what I really want to know is how well does this graphic card compare to a Nvidia Geforce. I mean like is this graphics card equivalent to say...Geforce 6150? or more? or less?
I dunno you tell me...I didnt buy the laptop for gaming, I just want to know what kind of games could i play on it when im bored.

Well it is an integrated card so it is nothing to fancy.

However it is a new generation so it will be more powerful then the nvidia 6150.

I beleive the x3100 is supposed to support dx10 and is designed to be able to handle the graphical interface of windows vista much better.

The 6150 was somewhat choppy with displaying the full aero effects of windows vista whereas i have used machines with the x3100 and it seems to handle it very well.

In terms of gaming it will probably have to keep everything at low settings but im sure you will be able to play majority of games. Just wont be able to put any of the nice eye candy on.

Laptops just arent really meant for gaming but overall im sure you shouldnt have to many issues with it.

TY very much for the information, very informative. I didn't buy the laptop for the means of gaming, just for school, but I was just wondering that in case i wanted to play some games what would this machine be able to do.

The X3100 is better than the geforce 6150, but both are pretty dire graphics cards.
