My Dvd drive wont read/write on cd or dvds

I've had a driver that was working a few weeks ago and then the nest time I started up my computer and I inserted a dvd it didnt autoplay I then when I checked in "my computer" I went there just to see that my dvd driver isnt showing up. My driver is a GSA-4163B. And It is like if i never had a dvd-rom drive...

Please I need help. And I can't seem to find the driver needed for this burner because I seem to have lost the cd for the drive. If anyone would be keen to help me, I will surely appreciate it.

Update your firmware and you should be good to go.
This is based on the model you specified in your OP.

Download the latest 1.06 firmware. If your model is an OEM one (if it came pre-installed with a computer you bought) download the OEM driver.
