no sound HELP PLEASE!!!

I recently downloaded a movie torrent and there are about 20 winrar arcive files and 17 other files that start at r30 thru r47 , i un packed the 1st 20 files that say win rar archive under the file type and it was the movie in avi format,the movie plays fine but there is no sound.My question is how do i get the sound and does not having sound have to do with the other files r30 thru r47, if so how do i unpack those files?

Please Help!

never mind i figured it out it was a codec problem i checked a different media player and it worked fine.
