Not Able to Burn with Verbatim Lightscribe

I Am trying to burn with verbatim lightscribe dvds. I heard that they are supposed to be the best but they are not working for me. I end up getting this message. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I tried to reduce the speed down, but it will only stay on maximum. Any more suggestions? Thank you.

You have to set the speed after you load the blank DVD and after you choose your compilation, the last step before clicking "burn". it should not saty at maximum. If indeed Nero does not to burn at the speed you want, try ImgBurn.
