AMCAP sample application for video capturing

Hi,

I am using AMCAP sample application bundled with Windows SDK 6.0.
I want to develop my own Video Capturing software using that.
But, when I try to use the AMCAP application itself to capture video, it runs the timer & shows 0 Captured, 0 dropped.
I am unable to locate the exact problem.
I need your earliest help.
