No.. you are stuffed now.. linux, unix or nothing.. Google is your friend.. or your common sense.. go on .. be a devil and try something off the wall.

BTW.. we are not "hard" in here.. just 1337 and skilled. FOSSers FTW ?

You'll need a screwdriver to open the hard drive, and a scouring pad and some abrasive cleaner to scrub it off with. Don't listen to varnull, he's just jerking your chain, it only takes the pros a couple of minutes.

Slightly presumptuous on your part OzMick , as you don't know if varnull is male or female ... here's a clue : NOT male :P
lol

smarty68 : yes just do a fresh install of XP & it'll delete the linux o/s !! (a basic google search would've told you that , and that's why the sarcasm probably landed squarely on your shoulders tbh).

Anyway have fun , let us know how ya got on.

If it was mandriva on there I'm expecting Micks suggestion to meet with more success. XP partitioner can't handle read only flagged partitions..

And you like to wait 6 weeks for active@killdisk to clean a 750GB HDD?

Just bash the partitions off with gparted or qparted and let windoze do it's thing ;).. or hadn't somebody realised we were taking the piss in here?

It seems to have escaped all but a couple of peoples notice that this topic is wrongly posted in the linux section... It has nothing to do with linux, and therefore should be in the windoze softhead section.
