How do I fix the Redbook Audio in my PSX Backups?

I have played PSX Backups with BOTH Codebreaker and PSXLauncher ELF...but all seem to not play the redbook audio portion. Its funny i remembered when i used to use the old EMS Firmware Action Replay/Power Replay/Mini Goldfingers back in the late 90's when everyone was getting into DBZ and you would use ANY psx game and it would read all of my games redbook (aka WITH audio tracks) and yellowbook audio (aka games with no cd tracks) games. how or can i fix this problem? thanks!
