Hey guys,

I've got a rather annoying question that I hope you can help me with.

I have been using Nero Vision 3 for a few years now and I love it. It's nice and quick to encode to DVD and the pic and audio quality is great.

I also decided to buy the new Nero pack with Vision Express 5 included. Again program is great and making the Smart 3D menu's is sweet as.

The problem I now have is I get a encode ready to do weather it be a movie or a few AVI files and the program will just crash so to speak. The GUI part of Nero has disappeared but the process is still running in Task Manager. The encode will stop there and this happens on various AVI files. This problem can occur straight away but most of the time its halfway through the encoding process. It will either freeze or the GUI will just die.

I am running a Pentium 4 3.06GHZ Chip with 2GB RAM, ATI Raedeon 9550 256MB card. I am also running Windows XP Professional SP2 and I am using K-Lite Mega Codec Pack Version 3.45.

The only thing I can say that I have done different to the setup to my machine (but the problem was still happening before this change occurred) was that installed Service Pack 3 RC1.

I have also done a re-install of XP complete fresh version with only Windows XP SP2 installed (I slipstreamed Service Pack 2 in with a Service Pack 1 Version) and both Nero Vision 3 and Vision 5 still do the same thing.

Help would really be appreciated as this is annoying the crap out of me as it worked in the past and now nothing.
