Ok, what type of discs are you using, and what brand are they?
I.e. CD+R, DVD+R, DVD-RW? Are they Verbatim, Maxwell, etc...

Are you sure the discs have absolutely no data on them? If they are Rewrite-ables you may need to erase them, if they are ordinary DVD+R's that you used in another failed burn or something then you can't write to them as Data has already been written on the disc.

I'm using Memorex DVD+R. Now.... I have put back in the same disc to re-burn it, not realizing the data is on it from the failed burn that you mentioned. I have also put in a brand new disc. I'm going to try Nero again tonight and see if the same thing happerns. Thanks I'll post what happens.

Bad, bad child! Do not play with Memorex! Low quality disc, they will upset your burner. Your burner will then throw a fit and refuse to burn, or will burn a bad disc that will skip/freeze/pixelate or just not play at all!
Get some goos quality Verbatim discs. If you buy online, go for the Taiyo Yuden!

Piss me off, and I Will ignore You!

Sonys and Verbs are good, stick with them and you won't run into problems..

Occasionally Memorex use some decent manufacturers, but 9 times out of 10 you will get a batch of Memorex's made my CMC-MAG, the worst CD manufacturer known to man, lol, so don't risk it.
