I don't lnow if Office Max still has the sale going on, but the +R Verbatims sound much better, for just 2 dollars more.
Why do the online stores sell the plus format for a higher price then the minus format, and no difference in the price at a brick/mortar store? What's that all about?
I've been wanting to know that answer for years. Especially on full hub Inkjet printables. There was a thread started by Bigtoxy with that same question a while back, but no influential media peeps posted the answer.
I remember when Ty-G02 thermal lacquers were 22 cents each and the Yuden00-T002 would be 35 cents each.
I've been using Office Depot +16x Ricohjpn-R003 and Ritek P-16 for 18-20 cents each.Very good media.
saugmon- I have'nt tried them Either ! But They should be as good as The Officedepots assuming the Media codes are the same ? It would'nt make sense to put out crappy Media under your own brand name and then make Much better media for another company's brand name for the same or a slightly higher price ! Might be worth trying but I think I'll stick with the Officedepots being as they are a known quanity as opposed to an Undiscovered country ? still if you try some give us a shout on what you think about them M'kay !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ciao !!!!!!!!!
Cons: This Product produced the MOST coasters I've ever had with ANY box of DVDs I've owned-and I paid the same price newegg charges for TDKs-which are great.-Stick with name brands!
Need to question that, since they're in love with TDKs.LOL
Wait for the Office Depot sale of their brand (not the Ativas-get OD labeled ones) which are Ricoh jpn R03-004s +Rs or as cyprusrom said wait for the Verb sales.
Edit: @saugmon
I thought you had been using the OD brands. Very good media-I use them for my daughter's burns since she seems to think I need to buy her blanks.LOL
You're right about the cheap price for internet +Rs, usually they're much higher. I've never bought DVDs on line before since they are on sale most of the time at B&M stores here. We are losing our CompUSA store but they never put the good stuff on sale anyway. Maybe that's why they're in financial trouble nationwide.

Sorry for the brief OT post. ;) We are loosing our CompUSA B&M store as well. If anyone needs DVD+R or DVD-R discs they have them on sale. Depending on the step in the process they could have Verbatim DigitalMovie blanks on sale for $7.50 or so. ;) MCC 003 and MCC02RG20 media and good stuff imho.. ;)
the EGG also has Verbatim MCC 004 (DVD+R 16X) on sale for $28.99 + $9 MIR!!! :D NOT bad for Verbs but the MIR always drives folks away. :P
Has anyone noticed the similarities to TigerDirect and CompUSA webpages?? hhmmmmmmmmmmm..........
Back to topic....
I've wondered about those exact discs as well. What MID are they if that hasn't already been answered?? :D
