DVD Decrypter works like a champ for me when I rip movies. However, the discs that have tv episodes and such are proving to be a challenge. I'd like to rip in such a way so that each VOB file is one episode. any suggestions on what would be appropriate settings to accomplish this?

What u suggest may not be possible due to the size of the episode and that an episode may have more than 1 vob in it.

Here's a suggestion: after ripping to hdd, use dvd shrink in reauthor mode and create a file with only 1 episode in it. Yhis fits your requirement.
