i just got the avi to dvd and they reccommended a bunch of different programs, so we got divx, vlc, firefox, torrent, google, adobe, and dvd decrypter. now everytime we try to use avi to dvd we get to start then it says file access denied. we followed the instructions they gave us, and went to the walkthrough at this site, but to no avail. does anyone know what is wrong???

Are you trying to convert some movies that are in AVI format to DVD-Video and burn them to be able to watch them on your DVD player?

If so, all you need to have is DVD Flick, it is a free program and works great:
