Nintendo DS Lite copying games using R4

I have bought r4 Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) when i copy games onto R4 and place in ninrendo DS Lite message comes up Coundn't find _DS_ menu.dat
Where do i go for this any ideas please help my 5 year old son is expecting me to sort this as i am his DAD after all oldetimer cheers PS please be specific i am not good on IT

you need to add the lastest firmware onto the root folder of the sd card. you can download the latest here

there is also a guide on the r4ds at the top of this forum. r4ds and m3 simply are the same product just with a different name.
