What kind of +R DVD works with ILO dvd burner? I recorded a video tape all the way thru untill the end, when it went to finalize it displayed an error,I got the same result twice with an Imation DVD. Anyone know what kind may work better? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not as familiar with standalone burners as with the PC process, but as far as media goes, Imitation sometimes can have some bad providers for their media, which is just stamped with their brand name.

If you want good media, get Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or Made in Japan Sony.

I use Taiyo Yudens ( MIJ ) as suggested by brother 7thsinger.

Yes Imation are using increasingly worse manufacturers these days, even CMC-MAG (the worst of the worst).

Try some other media. (Verbatim and Sony are good).

No problem.

There's no substitute for good media. The only media allowed in my little world are the one's i listed in my first post.

Rip, burn, and conquer.

No wonder we are having problems here, the ILO is a dvr recorder (Table top), not a dvd burner in a pc. Table tops can be very fussy on what they like and the best discs may not be number 1. Read the owners manual for dvd blanks suggestions, or do the trial and error method. If you want better results, get a pc with a real dvd burner.
