couldn't agree more, Ritek is the only brand that seems to work without problems......for me!

This has happened to me with my DVD-R Playo discs. They work for only a while then disc error occurs. I am now using Sony DVD-R and they work perfectly no flaws whatsoever.
Hope this helps :)

just edit your post - easier
i use maxell discs and they are fine - the common denominator appears to be rytek coating
aim for them oh and cheapo discs are a waste of time rytek discs are only a couple of pence dearer per disc get those instead of cheapo brands

HOORAY after over 300 dollars spent stuffing around with the chip professional and getting it fixed, it finally works. i got some verbatims today and played my game for about 15mins without it gettin a disc error.note that all that money wasnt spent for disc errors it was alot more hassle than that

Different Wiis accept different DVD's. For some reason the Wii is very finicky with media and some will work on some consoles, and some wont.
Judging from what I said above and the experiences of everyone, I guess the only solution is to try a different media. The better the quality, the better the chances it will work.
