Swap Magic - Does selecting PAL mode make PAL games work on NTSC PS2?

I have swap magic 3.6. My ps2 is definitely NTSC. If I had a PAL game, do I select PAL mode in the swap magic screen and this will make the game work fine on the NTSC ps2? Or will the 50hz still make my game screwed up?

the game will play fine the problem will be your TVs frames per second. when you try and play PAL media on an NTSC tv youre going to get what looks like bad tracking on a vcr. the screen will have lines through it and may even flip dramatically. you can, however, get a converter and change your PAL files to NTSC. just search this site or google for a PS2 PAL to NTSC converter.
