Hi all,

Before I start this thread, i assure you I have run through the seaches many times yet I cant find a definite answer of what it is and what is for?

Could someone please tell me what Popstation/popsloader is and what it is used for? My understanding is it kind of needed for playing multiple disc PSX games. I am playing MGS and FFVII now so it could be quite crucial.

I have 3.71 m33-4 and running all fine on iso/cso and psx EBOOT games.

Popstation is a PC program that converts PSX ISOs into eBOOTs.

Popsloader is the plugin (I guess) that lets you run those eBOOTs.

Now, I haven't actually put Popsloader on my PSP, yet it can run PSX games fine. (PSP Slim 3.71 M33-4) So I'm assuming it's just built into it, but anyone that knows better please tell me. :)

I'm also curious how the multi-disc support works. Games like FFVII should be fine, as they let you save before swapping discs, but the question is how do the others work?

thanks. exactly my understanding too; that poploader is needed to load EBOOT file but well, you could be rite that new cfw has popsloader build in. :)

Maybe someone can shed some light re disc swap?
