I have a psp with fw1.50. I can play all of the older psp games (iso) with emulators but any of the new games just refuse to play. Should i upgrade to another firware? What emulators will work with new games (iso, cso). Ive used umd emulator, devhook, fastloader and none of these will work with the new games. What software should i be using? Games like Tekken, Mortalkombat, whowantstobeamillionaire, kingkong, Cars, ect ect will not work with the emulators that i have when i first started out. Ive run out of options and i need help from someone who knows their psp stuff. Thanks.

you will not get past 3.11 on 1.50 and devhook.

switch to custom firmware. it's less messy, and has a lot more features built in.

go HERE and follow the guide. it's the safest way to upgrade your psp.

no problem. some newbies know what they're talking about, because they do their research first, before posting. that's how i was.

any other help, just post back, or create a new thread if it's unrelated to the old thread.
