I have had alot o problems connecting other devises to my wireless router.

I have a windows XP dell inspiron 2200 laptop and i just orded a dell inspiron 1520 which is vista.
I have spent the good part of 4 hours trying to see why its not working but no luck.
It will only connect when my security is on "WAP" but whens its on that my inspiron 2200 does not even see it, but when it does it fails to connect to it.
With it on "WPA" my 2200 will connect fine but the 1520 just will not connect.

i have also tired connecting my ps3 to it which failed, my friends laptop, which failed, now my new laptop, which failed.

My brodband is supplied my AOL which i have on my old laptop and the PC but not on anything else

Do you think it might be i have to install AOL which is a nightmare to set up or do you have any other suggestions?
