yep, thats it. my resident evil 3 didnt work either. i had to change the ID of the actual Eboot. but before i tell you how to do that lets make sure you are putting the game in the right place. go into the psp folder in your psp root, the go to the game folder. in that folder make a new folder and name it anything you want preferably resident evil 3. then stick the eboot in there. now to change the ID download this.

http://dl.qj.net/PSX-GameID-Changer-PSP-...11970/catid/190

then where it says Game ID at the bottom of the program, put in this number SLPS01222.

that's what i did and it worked just fine for me.
now if you can figure out how to get these games to work with 3.90 M33 please let me know.

well im a die hard resident evil fan so i have the originals of all the resident evil games. i made mine myself. you are probably right about the bad file. maybe you should try and find it somewhere else. and thanks for the complement on the tat.

I had the same problem when I updated to 3.71 M33-4 Everytime I loaded the game I got all the title screen but on starting a game/loading a save it just froze after saying "this is my last chance" etc. Anyway I fixed it on 3.71 m33 by getting popsloader with all the pops in, you can download it easily. Install it as recommended, then when you start the program from the memory card, hold R button and choose a pops file to use *note you must have the corresponding pops file on your mem card* If one pops doesnt load the game correctly, try the next, I found pops 3.52 works perfectly, and the game runs 100% well!

Good luck!
