Backup games that can go online ?'s

I was wondering how to backup my champions of norrath game or any other ones that can go online, When i backthem up to my hdd they start but they stay at this screen and wont play the game at all how do I get it to work, I also have mortal kombat vengence that wont work.

I wish I knew if there were ANY games that did go online, but every backup game I got, No online play......sorry

you CANNOT play online when playing games from the hdd. you will need to use the original game disc, or a dnas patched backup.

I dont want to actually go online, just it has the ability to, and for somereason everyone of those games that I backed up to my hdd free at the beggining screen and dont do anything

Have you tried them in different modes.

You have to patch the DNAS in your ISO before you burn or run it on the HD. Here is an updated list of DNAS patches. Check the forums here to learn how to do it. I'm not 'splainin'. As for your backups not working, what method are you using, what type of PS2, HDLoader, mode numbers, and such. There may just be a glitch in protocol. Also, are you running NTSC or PAL? How about the PS2, NTSC or PAL? All important questions to guide you to the right answer.

and one last question whats the point of having mode 3 on for every game, if you turned it off wouldnt the games go faster?

You don't need mode 3 on for every game. I don't. I only use it on the ones that won't load otherwise.
