I have been able to insert PS2 discs into my drive and they will be recognized (read not playable) but from there I could rip the ISO and then write it with DVDDecrypter. However this mornign for some reason I cant do them with DDR Extreme2 or DDR MAX2 I jsut recently Ripped NHL 2K8 and NCAA Football 2008, so I dont suppose it is a issue of updated technology as I assume thes 2 sports games are newer. I have not loaded any new programs onto my computer so I am not sure where this problem is coming from, I have no problems loading up a DVD movie btw.

any help is greatly apprecciated
Are you saying is that DVD Decrypter doesn't read the PS2 disk. It may be your drive is starting to go, or you can try updating your firmware. Just click on TOOLS, Drive, Check for Firmware updates in DVD Decrypter. You could also just try updating to Imgburn, the successor of DVD Decrypter, it will install over. See if that makes any difference.
Some discs are harder to read, is why the movie disc will show and the PS2 disc will not.
Do you have another drive to check the discs in to see if they work ok.
