corrupt .rar files...how do I fix??

I am downloading wii games off the internet, however sometimes I get a corrupt message from winrar saying that it cannot extract. Is there a way to fix this problem?

generally no unless it's specific parts of the archive - You either grab it all again - preferably from another source or try getting the individual replacements for the corrupt parts. If it's the very end it may just be that the last part is corrupt or perhaps that you don't have the full archive.

You can also try extracting with a different program. I've had several rar files that winrar said was corrupt but extracted just fine with 7zip.

usually the rar files come with a xxxxx.sfv file
run this and it will say if any of the files are damaged
u can then either re download the affcted pieces or if someone has supplied par files u can grab those and use quickpar to fix them

Yeah you need an sfv checker to check the sfv - google for free ones.

This may or may not help...

As it seems the archives are split, make sure you are opening the .rar file (or if that is not available then the first part of the archive)
