my japenese version of wii is semi bricked by super mario galaxy.how will i be able to unbrick it.i have heard that super smash bros brawl will fix the problem.is this true or it will brick my wii fully.please tell

This all depends on what region your console is.

As far as I am aware you will have to wait for another update to be released from your region, buy a game WITH that update on the disc (from your region), and update via that disc. Until Wii homebrew really takes off, I am fairly sure that this is the only way.

As for SSBB, I am not sure whether it carries an update. If so, just remember to use a disc from your region.

I believe SSBB J/NTSC does carry an update - read the thread about it and see what others are saying.
