i believe that either rivatuner or speedfan can do that

Yes, speedfan monitors your cpu temperature. Rivatuner monitors graphic card temps.

i downloaded that but how do i see my temperature it only says hd and the temperature.

I use everest home edition (free), it's a old program but still works ok. It'll show you the cpu and hard drive temperatures.
