I have this TV: http://www.osnews.com/story/18375/Review-iLO-LCT32HA36-HDTV

At desktop, I have the resolution set to 1280 x 720 but I can't select any other refresh rate other than 60 Hz. At 800x600 72 Hz is available.

I play Call of Duty 4, and in the graphics options I have 1280x720 and it allows me to select a refresh rate of 72 Hz. Would choosing this refresh rate damage my HDTV? And if yes, why would this game allow me to select this refresh rate setting? Even if I have the game set to 1600x1200, I can still select 72 Hz.
