The RIAA, in its attempt to subpeona file sharers names was denied by a Washington federal court. They said that the digital millineum copyright act does not apply to file sharing networks(such as the one used by kazaa) Read the article, its much better than my short summary, hopefully this'll be posted on the news, but 'till then...
