I am very angry with myself and my pstwo. I dont know what im doing wrong! I am trying to backup my games cause they tend to get very scratched up when my little cousins play them. I have done the sensor hiding softmod and I use AR-MAX to load cdloader and cogswap. I havn't had a problem with CD-R's but when it comes to my games of over 700 MB I need to use a DVD, What I dont get is.. Why wont the pstwo read my dvd-r backups. The media brand is SONY DVD-R. Brand is on the discs. My first attempt was Burning the iso as an image using nero. (the game is futurama) I attempted to load the game with cdloader as well as cogswap with no success. Attempt two I tried to burn the image with DVD-Decrypter, and failed to succeed again, and then so on with IMG_burner, clone-cd, alcohal 120%, etc. I nearly tried every image burner there is and i couldnt get pstwo to read them off my dvd-r. I thought it might be the game, so I tried Another game, Starwars battlefront II. It too did not work, so I got a heck of a lot of coasters now. Can anyone help me? please!!? I was going to attempt to burn the game to a DVD ram disc but came here first before i destroy anymore discs!

figured it out, turns out i didnt know how to use dvd games with cogswap but i learned how. They should really put some instructions within the cogswap loader. Well i got a bunch of backups now. =)

Can you provide some details to your solution for those that have the same problem?

Thanks

Whats so hard about the solution, zen87 didnt know how to use cogswap propertly. If u googed up cogswap dvd, u will probably find something. Plus ppl on forums dont tend to read, and just ask questions...

Your probably right, I'm trying to figure out this and that with my ps2, I just flat out gave up on cogswap all together. If i need to do swapping i'll just buy a flip-top. The truth is there's SOO much info out there its hard to find out where to actually begin, like playing Tutorial Roulette.

Glad someone read this thread and got back to me.
