I want to get a 512mb graphics card for my dell dimension 4700 that is on windows XP and is completely stock apart from 2 added 1GB RAM sticks. I can't find any that claim to be compatible with my system. Does anyone know of one that will definitely work for me? I can't seem to find one.

Anywhere below 200 euro would be good, the cheaper the better so long as it has what I require, u know? thanks.

well itll take a PCI-E GPU, but you will probably have to add a PSU to that aswell.

read the rating of the PSU, and tell me when u have on all the rails.

eg 12V rail : 15A (as an example)

Have no clue how tocheck the rail (whatever that means), how can I?

P.S. buying from the republic of Ireland so uk works as well as the mainland for me.

the gfx is under ?200, but you will most likely need a better PSU so you need to spend on that aswell.
