Hey I just recently got the DVD Shrink 3.2 program.

My problem is that when I rip a dvd onto my computer it splits it up into about 12 separate files or so.

I want to be able to rip it and create one single file that I can just click on to play.

I know I have it to segment the contents into 1gb sections, which I could change. I wonder if the reason I have so many files is because Im ripping the DVD menus and stuff.

Any ideas?

You could elect to create/save video files to a different container--ISO. For playback you will need Media Player Classic.

When you hit Backup! after DVD Shrink analyzes the disc, a small window pops-up (as you already know). Immediately below Select backup target:, click on the pull-down menu and choose ISO Image File. Subsequently, after encoding, locate the file. Right click on it (ISO image file) ,and select Properties. Click Change ,and then choose Media Player Classic in the list of programs. Lastly, clik OK twice.

Use this to rip a DVD to hard drive
http://www.dvdfab.com/free.htm
It will create a folder. If you want to play a DVD from this folder then use something like Cyber Link power DVD player. You can still make an ISO file with shrink from this folder if you want also
