Ok so im planning on getting a blu-ray drive for my pc so that I can watch blu-ray movies on my samsung 22" lcd and eventually I plan to hook up an hdtv to my pc via hdmi and watch them on the tv. I plan to use anydvd to rip blu ray movies to my hard drive. I was wondering if there is a way to convert the ripped files to a different file format that would take up less space on my drive? I do not want a loss of quality tho, so if I had to I would just leave the files the way they were and buy a bigger hard drive.

ASRock 890GX PRO 3, AMD Phenom II X2 555 BE, 8GB GSkill Sniper DDR3 1333,
Main HDD: WD Raptor 74GB 10,000rpm, Storage HDD: 1TB WD Caviar Black,
Lite-On iHAS124-04 --> LT Burner Max FW,
Samsung BX2331 23" LED Widescreen LCD,
Xbox 360 Premium 20GB --> Hitachi v0078fk --> LT+2.0
