Been reading around for some time regarding backing up my umds. I cant get a grasp on anything as information seems so scattered. Im reading that umddumper is too old, fast loader is old news.
Then i read that cfw 2.5 and up has a ripper built in, and i just need to press the home button and follow some instructions. Thats not working for me. Nothing happens when i press the home button.
Help me please.
Im running cfw 3.9 on a PSP slim and would like to create a backup of a few of my UMDs. How can i achieve this?

If it still doesn't show up when you press select, then you need to go into recovery (Hold R at bootup) and find the option to "enable VSH menu".

use your recovery menu (holding R after turning your psp on after a full shut down) and enable the VSH menu. Then push select on the home screen and select UMD Disk as your usb mode. Go to USB connection and drag the disk on to your dewsktop. (make sure you do not unzip or exract it in any way) Then drag the game into a folder called "ISO" on the root of your memory card. Now you can play your game without the disk.
