hi, i have finally found out why sometimes gba rom saves get erased using the gba expansion pack, if you take out the gba pack and boot the m3 real, turn off then re input the gba pack you will see that the last gba game you played will have no save, this is it guys the last game you play save will be deleted if you take out the gba pack and boot the ds, so make sure if you are ever going to take it out, boot a gba game that you dont need the save for this will protect your last saved data. I found this out today after testing this with 5 different roms with different combinations, thsi is concrete, i hope this is helpful.
