Ok guys has anyone had any luck making a backup of either no reservations or gone baby gone. Let me know ? I tried anydvd with both nero and clonedvd2 and no luck.

A number of us have had no problems with those two titles using AnyDVD and CloneDVD. Perhaps you have a bad original disc.

yeah thats the problem with several of mine this week . I'm going to start cleaning them first as soon as there out of the box!

I gather you never had a brand new DVD and it was defective? I know, I had a bad press and couldn't rip the DVD for anything! returned the disk for a new one! Everything was ok then.

I've had a couple bad presses lately. It's a wee bit unsettling when your paying between $15-$20 a movie for it to be defective.

having a bad press is very infrequent but does happen right out of the box. So when all else fails and you are using good media and programs that have known to work and short of having something wrong with your computer.... then it's time to actually look at the DVD itself and see if it can be done on another computer and see if the DVD is the actual culprit(bad press).
