Hey Guys
i am fairly new to the whole ps2 Exploit idea..
i have been trying this for a few days and its not working..
i have final fantasy XII and it got too scratched up but i backup every one of my games onto my 800 gb harddrive on my computer just incase
i have been trying to figure out a wway i can play it without getting swap magic or a mod chip
seeing as how i have NO way to pay for things online

i have tryed this tutorial http://ashholt.googlepages.com/ps2softmod
but it doesnt work
i have tryed useing uLaunchELF but when i put my ps1 game in it doesnt "trigger" ulaunchelf it just plays the game..
i have a ps2 slimline model scph-75001

anyone have any ideas?
i am really anxious to get this working

Oh BTW i was using NHL 98 to boot the exploit as my "trigger disc" i read somewhere that this one works..
but im not sure if they were right or not

you can't do the exploit on the slim ps2. the slim ps2 fixed the ps1 buffer overflow that triggers the exploit. only the fat ps2's can do the exploit properly.
