w810i Reflash?

Hey Guys.

I joined these forums after a friend told me to come here to ask about my mobile problem, as he has had many problems resolved on these forums.

Basically, my friend had a W810i that he had reported stolen after he lost it, and then found it again and gave it to me so I could use it for music whilst my iPod was broken. He then said he didnt want it back, so I can keep it. My K750i has recenttly broken, and I need a working mobile, but the w810i has been reported stolen :(

I have tried calling 02 and Sony Ericsson but I need the registers name and I dont have it, so I was wondering if its possible to reflash the phone or something like that, therefore getting it to work again.
