I cant figure out how to play backups on my ps2 slimline

is there ANY way i can play my backups with this model?
without swap magic or mod chip?

i really need help with this

there's NO way to play backups, without either one. you will have to spend money to get backups working.

Alright i was just wondering..
i am already thinking of getting a mod chip
is there any that you may reccomend?
that can play burnt games and let me FTP files..
or something

if you're going with the modchip route, spend the money on one of the top three:

-matrix infinity green dot (highest boot rate)
-dms4 pro (allows any hdd viewable in browser; fat ps2 only)
-crystal chip 2.0 (allows backups online, and cheats)

all have flash memory on the chip, so you can store and run elf files. also, region does not matter, as there is an option to switch between them.

Memor 32 and download the alternate firmware for it and you wont even have to crack the case

Yes you can. I use swap magic on my slim and it works fine.
