Hi I need help with this DVD, It plays perfectly fine on my stand alone DVD player but when I put it in my computer I get reading errors at a certain chapter. AnyDVD says it's protected with Sonys ARccOS protection but I'm starting to wonder if the disc is damaged? (can't see any scratches on the disc though).
When I try to rip it with DVD Decrypter I get I/O errors on 3 of the big vob files, something about "Uncorrectable Error". I've tried importing a PSL file generated by PGCEdit, it worked for 2 of the 3 files but the 3rd gave the same I/O error, as if the disc was damaged but if it was I wouldn't be able to see the movie on my stand alone player right?
I also tried programs such as DVDFab Decrypter, AnyDVD, DVD Region+CSS Free, DVD Shrink, CloneDVD etc. And just about any guide I could find about ARccOS, except the one stickied at the top because it just makes no sense to me! (I'm new to all this)
Anyway, could the disc be damaged or is my DVD Drive bad? Or is this protection really this hard to crack?
