Okay, I burnt Naruto Shippuuden Accel 1 & 2 to these cheap DVD-R disks that I got from a friend. They both worked for a bit but then started crashing. I then got some Memorex 4.7 Gig disks and burnt the same games again.

This time they worked for ages, but then crashed at a loading screen just like before, I had no idea why.
I then burnt Persona 3 to a disk and played it for 5 hours straight. No problems at all.

Now, could this be because of the file size?
The Naruto games are just under 2 Gigs each, but Persona 3 is 4.19 Gigs.

I looked on the underside of the disks and the ring on the Naruto games is quite small, only about half way through the disk. Where as Persona fills nearly the full disk up.

So could the file size affect the performance? If so, is there any way to fill the disk up?
I know this all could be wrong, but I just think it's a bit strange and would like to get to the bottom of this.
Cheers

Sounds to me like cheap media. With bad media like Memorex it's a hit or miss thing on how long it will last before it stops working. Sometimes it might work for months and sometimes it won't boot at all. But yes there is way to fill the disk up. Just add dummy files to your game and it will bulk up the size.
