Car CD player- plays burnt cds but...

when ever i put a burnt cd in my car it will play but when i try and switch the tracks it will stop on a random track, some times its 4 sometimes 5, sometimes 10, and then it will go back to track 1 and wont play for about 5-10 minutes and then it starts playing again. any one know why. i cant figure it out. i burn the cd as an audio-cd but it doesnt work. plz help

Sometimes CD players don't like burns, and it can be as simple as that. I have a Sony micro stero system which will play some burns, but not others, but plays originals fine. My main stero recognizes them with no problem.

Try originals in your car and see if you have the same problem. If not, there's really nothing you can do, other than get a new player for your car.
