My buddy just got a new DVD Recorder and he can't hook it up properly to everything. The new DVD Recorder does not have any Coaxl cable hookups on the back just the RCA jacks. He has a regular cable box, DVD Recorder, VCR, TV and His Surround sound stereo. Here is what he wants to do. He wants to make it so all of it comes is through his surround sound. He would like to be able to press Video 1 on his Surround sound receiver and have it go to his DVR (picture and sound) Video 2 (same thing as video 1 except use his VCR) Video 3 (his regular TV through the stereo. He wants to be able to record cable programs using his DVD Recorder. He still would like to be able to watch VHS tapes on his VCR. Would any of you be able to tell me how to do all this or even better if you have a diagram that would be totally awesome.....Thanks for your help.
