How effective is 'Security Task Master'? dmboot issues?

As always- after having bought various software -most seem to be so specific as to address a narrow 'window' of issues(pun intended!).
I am having a variety of issues and according to a brief scan from a test run of 'Security Task Master' I am told that I have 25 drivers on my OS I do not need and 6 file issues etc.
Who to believe?
I have invested in so many different software programs which loudly proclaim that,"Ours is the best...and all your problems will be solved" etc...
Who to believe?

At $30 a pop multiplied by X amount of times- this fixing routine begins to become tiresome- especially as the issues never seem to 'quite get fixed'.
Then it's - off to the computer tech store for $100- and "Why did I buy that software anyhow?"


I have a dmboot issue and a couple of quirks- and missing ASPI drivers since my recent reinstall of W2k...anyone know which software really fixes issues?
