Hi all
Can anyone give an opinion as to which version of Nero is best for Win Vista Home Premium please.
I've been told that Nero 6 won't work at all on Vista Home Premium, and others have said that they have had issues with Nero 7 and 8 on Vista Home Premium.
Any adviceand/or intructions, in relation to which version of Nero is most suitable with Vista would be very much appreciated.
Dave

Version 7.5.9.0 and later are Vista compatable...7.10.1.0 is a good reliable version.

Hi Gwen, and thanks for the heads up.
Does anyone else have an opinion, or what version have of Nero have others found to be totally reliable with Win Vista Home Premium ?
The laptop that i'd be putting Nero on is a Dell laptop, and has Roxio installed on it.
Should this be uninstalled prior to installing Nero ?
Would there be a conflict between the 2 ?

As stated, 7.10.1.0 is a good reliable version...I wouldnt recommend Nero8 at this stage....there is some conflict between Roxio and Nero but it is my understanding that is only with the earlier versions of Roxio.

Hi again Gwen
Not sure what version of Roxio is actually installed on the lappy, but in any case, Nero pretty much does what Roxio does doesn't it, so is there any need to keep Roxio if i install Nero 7.10.1.0 ??

Hi Gwen, and thanks yet again.
Is there a reason for uninstalling Roxio by the method you described, as opposed to the usual way of Control Panel, Add/Remove etc ?
