Super converter/VOB help please

I've been using Handbrake to convert videos I've backed up using RipIt4Me-which as we all know creates a number of VOB files. I found Handbrake way to slow (probably my system-it's getting old) and decided to try Super converter after reading a few posts here.
Seems to work fine-however it creates a number of MP4 files out of the VOB files and I want, naturally, the output to be a single MP4 of the entire movie-rather than 4 or so separate MP4 VOB files.

Any tips on doing this please-with Super or Handbrake or any other free program?
