ok...i am trying to crack wep, (on my own network) and im using windows on both computers. (i know, i know, go get linux) a common way to sniff correctly is to use a wireless card called AirPcap and to install the driver that comes with it when u go out and buy it. im not really wanting to shell out the money to do this. ive heard i can update the driver on my current wireless card and use them in conjuncture with..the problem is that one laptop has the wireless card built into it and theres no standard input for another card. im not sure there are any updates for the driver out there for it but if there are,...where??!?!? and how do i install them? the two drivers i have installed are a Broadcom for wireless and a Realtek for ethernet use. im not sure witch one i need to update, if not both, to get this working....if anyone can help me here with a link to a tutorial or with detailed instructions, i would greatly apreciate it.
