After making a dvd with multiple music videos for a friend, any dvd player or computer I use to test has these pixelation errors on them. What can I do to fix it?

What brand of discs are you using and at what speed are you burning.

verbatim dvd-r, max speed.

But the blocky errors alsoo appear in the preview of nerovision too. Not sure if its the laptop or what. Im on leave at my moms house so I cant test on my gaming rig back on base.

Could it be the codecs? i had klite codec but i just uninstalled it, ran the preview again still graphics problem on video. Note: The orginal videos are perfect nothing wrong. Im thinking its nero, gonna try a reinstall of it.

Verbatim are top quality discs, however I would NOT recommend burning at MAX speed...it is a general rule to burn at half the rated speed of the disc.

Yea but i doubt its the burning speed either. Nero's preview shows the blocky errors just like the dvd. Could it be a software problem?

not a bad program, but its just not as advanced as nero vision. I just bought a license key two nights ago for $70. I would just hate to us a alternate program to get what I need. I hope this can get resolved. Going to clean wipe nero tomorrow morning and try again. By the way this is a fresh 1 week old OS install.

I think I may have figure this sucker out. I just remember that all my music videos are all .flv ripped from the net. My guess is nero is not good with playing these and/or converting them. Im going to try and convert them all to .avi.

Ill reply on my findings

Success! Nero had errors while playing or converting .flv files. I guess the developers need to look into that and refine their codecs or what not.

But converting the files to .avi via divx encoder fixed the corrupted blocks during playback.

Going to update my beginning post.
