I have all the firmware on the sd card. (english 1.15, ds menu, moonshell, etc.) All the new games i download are not working and when i try to load them it says <Unable to read data. Turn OFF and reinsert the Game Card.> I have tried formating the sd card and set it on Fat32 and Fat. please help...

I assume that you're using an R4 card? Also, what is the brand and size of the Micro SD card that you're using? Are you getting this error as soon as you power on your DS or do you get the R4 menu first?

yeah im using an R4. 1 gig kingston sd card. certain games work but new games like mario party and dungeon explorer: warrior of the ancient arts dont work. After I click on the game on my menu it says <Unable to read data. Turn OFF and reinsert the Game Card.> Other games work perfectly but newer games all get this error.

Sounds like something has gotten corrupt. I'd backup all of your files and start over. Format the card, copy the latest firmware, and copy the games and save files. Try the new games and see if they work.

Ok.. I tried formating the sd card twice now.. it still doesn't work. >:(

My only other guess is that the new games you have gotten aren't any good. Try getting those new games from a different site. You didn't mention it after the format, but your old games are still working aren't they?

yeah the old games still work. The cite i get the games off works because my friends use the same cite and the games work for them...

If its the same file as your friend then its probably not that although you may want to ask him for a copy. Did you also try your R4/card in his DS or vice versa to see if its the SD card or R4 possibly. I know its a pain but its the only way to narrow done your problem, especially if the file has been shown to work on another system.

ok. i got the file directly from his sd card and it still doesn't work. We switched sd cards and his sd works on my R4 and the games still dont work on my sd from his R4.

latest firmware version for the r4ds is V1.16 and you can get it here mate - http://www.r4ds.com/download-en.htm
very easy to update , download and unrar , then copy the 2 folders and 2 files to your memory card ( it will probably say do you wish to replace files already on your memory card , just click yes .)
2 files are - _DS_MENU and _DS_MSHL.NDS
2 folders are - _system_ and moonshl
the new games should work with the latest firmware v1.16.
