Cannot Uninstall Nero 7

Im trying to unistall Nero 7 because every time i try to open Nero Vison, SmartStart, Rom or anything thats part of Nero it says "some files (ShellManager) are missing, please reinstall Nero" but the problem is that every time i try to uninstall Nero and gets 3/4 through "Gathering Information" it says "Internal Error: Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function 'NeroAg_UnregisterComEx'. The installer must now exit. Crash Thread ID 3676, Current Thread ID 4916" just wondering if anyone can tell me how to uninstall it, much appreciated.

Thanks for that but ive already tried that, i recently got a new computer and got vista premium, im unfamiliar with it. Everytime i try and remove Nero with Nero Clean Tools i get a pop up saying "Microsoft Register Server Has Stopped Working. A problem has caused the problem to stop working correctly." Any ideas on what i can do to fix this? thanks in advance.

Sorry, don't deal with Vista, however check on MicroSux's website, they have a utility for Windows XP which completely removes anyprogram, and they should have one for Vista as well. (I hope they do)
Try here,some interesting programs, CCleaner has an uninstall option which seems to nuke any other programs.

hey thanks for trying to help. I tried using CCleaner but i had the same problem i had with the General Cleaner Tool, thanks anyway...

Just a thought try booting in safe mode and uninstall it that way not sure how you boot in safe mode with vista so don?t ask not to keen on vista restart computer and hold down F8 might be how you do it?

I had a similar problem trying to uninstall Nero. I tried the tools and other stuff. I then reinstalled, in order to be able to uninstall(I know, sounds kinda stupid, but worked without downloading any other tools). So, I installed a new version 7 over the corrupt one, and then I had no problems using Nero 7 clean tool.

Yeah thats what i was gonna try and do, im downloading Nero 7.10 and gonna try to install it, should automatically uninstall the other one, ill see what happens, thanks =]

I hadnt thought about trying to uninstall it in safe mode, that should do the trick, if not then ill try installing a newer version and see what happens, thanks mate =]
