How can i uninstall Win Vista?

So i hate Vista and i want XP back. How can i do this? My computer is a laptop and Vista was already installed on it when i bought it(Acer Aspire 5920G)

Just tell me if you need more details

just use active kill disk and format the drive and then install windows xp.

Before you do anything, you need to get the xp driver's for your laptop. Laptops are very picky about drivers.

It would be more beneficial for you to do a dual-boot with xp first. That way if you have problems getting xp to run on your laptop, at least you can still boot to vista. Once you have xp running good, you can delete the vista from your hard drive.

Ok having 1 little problem. Where i can i get that VistaBootPRO activation code? Bcause without it i can do this thing:D

You need to be VERY VERY careful here. Especially with laptops that get shipped with Vista.

Most of them have NO support for XP and I'm specifically talking about video drivers here. This is why you need to get your video drivers from Acer, HP, Dell rather than ATI (AMD) or nVidia. If there are drivers available for XP, then all the power to ya. I would do a thorough check of the vendor's website first (including forums) and maybe even send a support ticket off to technical support and ask if your model of laptop has XP support.

that would be very true about what you say with the drive i had the same problem with my toshiba laptop. i had to change it for one that would run XP and i had the opition of VISTA aswell.

i've downgraded 2 toshiba laptops & 1 acer tower from vista to xp with no problems.
