i think my computer is infected if and in my startup files there's something called rundll.exe sispower its in hklm/software/microsoft shall i run a hijackthis and post?

What do the Pop-ups say? Is there a blinking icon in system tray? This is the area next to the clock.

Let's start with an ESET online scan. Temporarily disable real time monitoring programs. Such as, Spybot Teatimer and Anti-virus. This is because some real time protection programmes can interfere with any fixes we are trying to run.

uses Internet Explorer only
check yes to accept terms
click the start button
allow the ActiveX component to install
click the start button. the Scanner will update.
check both "Remove found threats" and "Scan unwanted applications
click scan
when finished the scan log can be found at: C:\Program Files\EsetOnlineScanner\log.txt
Copy/paste that log in next reply.

Download SuperAntivirusSpyware. Update and run a complete scan.

Post the online scan and a new hjt log.

Be sure to turn your real time protection back on after the online scan is complete.
